What is the difference between your room types?
Our Standard rooms have a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, a ceiling fan and are located on the second floor. Our deluxe rooms are located on the ground floor and have a Queen bed or twins with Air Conditioning, flat-screen TV and mini refrigerator. We also have studio rooms and cottages with full kitchens or kitchenettes and 2 bedroom cottages with full kitchens. Click here to see our room types.
What are your office hours?
The Kauai Palms Hotel office is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm daily.
What time is check in? What time is check out?
Check-in begins at 3pm and ends at 8pm. If you will be checking in after 8pm, please be sure to provide the best mobile number for us to send detailed check-in information. Check out is at 11:00am.
What if we need to check in before or after your office hours?
A late check-in telephone number is posted on the front office window. Please call the number when you arrive and our night manager will assist you.
Do the rooms have air conditioning?
All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and over half of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning units. If air conditioning is important to you, be sure to ask for our AC category rooms, as our standard rooms don’t have air conditioning.
Is there free parking?
Yes, there are parking stalls in the front of the hotel and in the rear of the building.
Is there wire-less internet connection?
Yes, all rooms have access to free wireless internet connection.
How far is the hotel from the Airport?
The Kauai Palms Hotel is located approximately one mile south of the Lihue airport, a five-minute drive.
How long has the Kauai Palms Hotel been open?
The Kauai Palms Hotel has been in business since September 2005.
Do you have a restaurant in the hotel?
No, but we are located in the middle of the Lihue Restaurant District where there are over a dozen restaurants within walking distance.
How far is the nearest beach?
Nawiliwili Harbor and Kalapaki beach fronting the Kauai Marriott hotel is approximately one mile east on Rice Street.
Are children and/or pets welcomed at the Kauai Palms Hotel?
Children are welcomed however pets are not allowed.
Do you have an airport shuttle?
We do not have a shuttle from the airport at this time, however, Taxi cabs are available at the Lihue airport terminal. Taxi service is $10-$12 dollars without gratuity.
Does Kauai have public transportation?

Where can I rent a car?
Car rental operators are located at the Lihue airport just a mile north of the hotel. If you need to inquire about discount rates or reserve a car visit Discount Hawaii Car Rentals online.
Reservations & Cancellation Policy
To make a reservation you will need to provide a credit card guarantee. You may cancel your reservation without penalty up to 24 hours in advance of your booking.
