A self-guided tour for walking around Lihue – follow the map to posts with QR codes around town so visitors can easily get a lay-of-the-land.  The Līhu’e Loop project is a 1.3-mile Self Guided Audio Walking Tour from Kalena Park (by Kauai Palms Hotel) around Hardy Street, Eiwa Street, and Rice Street. There are 19 points of interest, each point is significant to the history and culture of Līhu’e town.

Advance reservations are required for the unhurried two-hour guided tours of the buildings, gardens and grounds at Grove Farm museum. Tours are given in small groups, (which fill up quickly!), and are led by Kauai residents who know the sugar plantation history and about life on the island.
